Our Journey of Love and Loss

In the United States, 15 to 20 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage, and in Georgia there are nearly 9 stillbirths per 1,000 live births. We became a part of the angel baby community on January 13, 2019 when our twin boys, Samuel and Joseph, were stillborn at 33 weeks.

You've changed me entirely, wholly, irrevocably. Living life is different now. It's all so different now. Missing you has stripped me to a soul level. You've made me richer than ever possible before. I've learned that true strength and courage arises when you've experienced searing loss and cannot imagine carrying on. I've learned that the deepest joy is known by those who have also experienced the deepest pain. I've seen that unending grief is really just a sign of unending love.
